The Bridge connects your computer's real MIDI gear and native plugins to Global MIDI DAW — and keeps them locked to the same global clock as everyone else in your room.
The Windows installer is an unsigned build (SmartScreen may warn the first time). macOS and Linux builds are produced from the same source — see the desktop project. If your download doesn't start yet, you can build the Bridge from source today.
What the Bridge does
- Native MIDI I/O — open any MIDI input/output port, play hardware from the studio and record it back.
- Plugin hosting — load your VST3 & CLAP instruments and effects on a track, with live parameter control and automation.
- Shared clock — the Bridge joins the same Global MIDI Clock as the browser, so hardware, plugins and the web studio all play in time.
- Same project, more reach — the studio drives the Bridge over a local connection; your patch stays in the browser, the sound comes from your gear and plugins.
